Random Irritations

Disagree strongly, nobody needs to see my face in order to hear my words. Camera stays off unless someone specifically asks to have them on.
Right back at you :ROFLMAO:. If I'm speaking with multiple people, I want to be able to see their faces, see their expressions as we talk. It's part of human contact.

PCN from Havering Borough for driving down a road at the wrong time…..has it come to this, we now need to check when we drive down roads or get an £80 fine - I’m boiling.

Way too awkward for me. I spend all the time thinking about what mannerisms I'm doing, especially if I've personally not had to speak for a while. Can't relax. Then someone asks me something and all I've been concentrating on is what my face is doing, haven't been listening to a word that was said. Camera off, no problem.

How can you tell if Laura from accounts in Newcastle is worth a crack at the Xmas party or looks like me with a Tash and is to be avoided at all costs? 🤣

I think the type of meeting matters as to whether the Camera goes on or not.

Discussions or collaborative meetings - On
When Presenting - On
When presented to - Off , Turn On for Q&A
Project Status Calls - Off (Get on with other stuff)

Is this so you can check their micro-expressions to judge whether they’re a traitor?

I was always camera off and mic off on Teams, unless asked a direct question. Thankfully, those days are now behind me. 😎
