Depending on their ages, I agree. However by dad doing it, he scores with both as 1 has her item she thought lost back, and the other has stopped her sibbling having any grounds to have a go at her.

Is she is small enough that she can't reach the bottom of the wheelie bin, she is small enough to be lowered into it to undertake the search.
