Random Irritations

The school run. Some of these parents might as well park in the classroom they're that close. Yellow zig zags obviously don't apply to everyone.
Then you see them waddling along and it all makes sense.
You forgot to say they were in there Jim jams 👍

We live across the road from the High school so 08.30 to 09.00 and 14.30 to 15.30 is bedlam outside our drive.
Today a lady blocked my wife in for 30mins. She turned up and said "Sorry, I had to go and see my son's teacher".
I wonder if that was about his self entitlement attitude.
And if she had blocked me in she would of found a flat tyre on her car.

That’s stuff is happening outside my daughters

If I have to drive mine I use the social club car park which is 5 mins walk

People park with no care for residents or pedestrians

Then she would have had you done for vandalism to her car and you achieve nothing as it’s stuck there even longer. Some fights aren’t worth the aggro and require a little more finesse to be addressed.

My mate has come up with many ways to deal with driveway blockers (he lives near a football ground and gets it often). Earlier this year a guy in a 5 series was parking across his driveway frequently. Cal had enough of it even though he’d spoken to him about it, and eventually he jacked the guys car up and put the rear on axel stands. Sent us a video of the alarm going bonkers and the back up in the air.

Guy never parked over the drive again.

See get creative. This is superb I absolutely love that 🤣

Talking of which, I've heard that all black marks against forummers names are to be lifted as it's the season of goodwill and the moderators, who are all totally awesome, obviously, are to make this announcement very soon.
Do we get a day like the Purge?
All rules set aside for 24 hours?

I seriously feel for those that live in areas like schools where parking is ridiculous.
My daughters house,Her estate is 50 yards through a jitty to get to the school gate. Some of the parking on the pavements is just stupid. They block pavements so parents taking kids to school that have pushchairs/prams have to go on the rd to get by. It just beggars belief.

The amount of USA news is horrendous. It seems every day we have some story which is headlines. Sky seem to be the chief culprits.

It would be preferable if say 9.30 a.m slot was American to cover the previous dy and if we must say 4.30 p.m for another 30 mins to conver what has happened on the day in question.

The BBC Weather App......Just make up your minds will Ya!
This morning it was saying that tomorrow morning was going to be wet, windy, cold and maybe sleet until at least 11am
About 2.30 I accidentally clicked on it - oooh it's changed..now the bad weather will be gone by 7am
Might get some golf after all.....
Just checked now because I trust them about as far as a Fragger drive and guess what?
Wet, windy, cold and maybe sleet until at least 11am......
Bunch of retards......
We are in Palm Springs and the forecast on AccuWeather and the BBC for the Sunday to Tuesday in the daytime has been 70% plus chance of rain and cloudy for every day (a black cloud and a single rain drop) it has been like this unchanging for the past 7 days. The Met Office and Weather.com both have said sunny and maximum 10% chance of rain for one 2 hour period, (a full sun icon for all daylight hours) the rest being less than 5% - again this has not changed in the past 7 days. We didn’t know which to believe when booking golf.
We have had almost unbroken sunshine with the odd wispy cloud, not even a hint of rain. In the Coachella valley you can see for about 70 miles to the mountains which surround it. Not a black cloud in sight anywhere. If whoever the BBC Aand AccuWeather were paid by accuracy they would be out of business. The ‘on an island’ excuse doesn’t hold up here.
