My IT irritations continue. Don’t turns out not a single printer on our site has been configured to allow Windows 11 printing via WiFi.

IT solution just plug into the wired network to print. Well can’t do that they removed all the hard wired network points in every building. So now I can’t print anything travel documents and will have to email them to Mrs M to do at work on an unsecured network! Literally couldn’t make this up, it’s affecting everyone that’s going away and currently no planned work around!

I have the 1 Ltr eco boost where the chain is in the oil - so got it replaced after 85k - £1800 to get that done , some have got a replacement engine if it went within 20/30k but at least mine lasted a little longer

The commonly known 1ltr EcoBoom engine. You’ve done really well to get that mileage out of it. My wife had the same Engine in her previous car, full ford service history and at 51k miles required a full engine replacement.

I also shared your pain with the door sills they were constantly getting gorilla glued back in place on her car.

So if the seals have lasted 10 yrs and that one split at the welded seam ( most likely), is it that bad?
Wet belts are a nightmare and a design nightmare.

Wet belts are a terrible idea as mentioned above despite the full Ford service history my wife’s went in 51k miles and basically wrote the car off as a shell!

Okay, I'll bite. Why are you printing travel documents? Are they not all on your phone now? I can't remember the last time I printed any out.

MoD policy all travel orders and documents must be printed in hard copy and presented at check in, they are not to be stored on Personal electronic devices for security purposes. They physically check every single printed document at check at Brize Norton is archaic and causing more issues every day

Yet I’ve got to send them to be printed now where there’s a greater security risk than on my phone!!

If I were travelling anywhere else with a normal airline just have it in the wallet app on my phone.

I would say pointed it out is the subtle way of putting what I said

Exactly right though , shrugged it off and then will moan at a later date people are breaching security despite it being the fault of the archaic system not the individual

The door seals on Ford Focus ls are notoriously bad

Then next time I go onto Facebook and the first group is recommended for me - “Ford Focus Ecoboost” nightmares - I really shouldn’t have looked

Ah yeah we didn’t have anything that bad , the chain had started to split and get into the oil but we caught it in time

No idea why they thought a chain going through oil would last forever

When you say chain, do you actually mean belt?

It’s a well used phrased that is always used after the event to highlight everything that’s gone wrong but guess what it doesn’t improve the planning next time as that’s means people had to admit they were wrong the time before

And a Spotify one that baffles me.

My Mrs subscribes to Spotify Premium. I've downloaded Spotify for Google Android in our new motor - and am making strides using Google Assistant in the car to select music. But if I ask Google to play a specific album my helpful Google assistant tells me that I need Spotify Premium...which she has (and which I have access to on my phone). I then search for an album on my phone - and Spotify in the Google Android context plays it. I just don't understand...I am so hopeless at this technology stuff.
