Sadly, if falsifying the truth was a criminal offence our prisons would be full of journalists!

The journalist concerned was known to us, having rejoined the job after a period away. What nobody realised was that, in their time away, the individual had started working as a journalist. Nobody really knows what the motivation was behind them returning to try and dig up some dirt. But it was all pretty inane stuff in the end, resulting in a programme which hardly set the world alight. I have googled said person since, and it seems they no longer work in journalism. It seems those who employed them weren’t that impressed with their efforts.

A quick google disproves both these statements.

1) The BBC outright lied by doctoring a speech to make it seem like he had encouraged the Capitol Hill riots. He was cleared by congress as well.

2) in 2006, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) reclassified it as a tax because it is a compulsory payment not solely for accessing BBC services.

Took the dogs out at 7am, it was lashing down. Was due to tee off at 8.30, cancelled that as did the majority of our lot (all due to tee off between 8-9).

You don’t need to read or watch a BBC report…you can draw your own conclusions on what Trump wanted to happen that day by reading his speech. I know what I take from it.

That's your right, and you might be right or wrong.

As subscribing is (as good as) compulsory, the Beeb must play a straight bat. If they want to mess about etc etc they should loose the licence funding.

I think my point was, count ourselves lucky we don’t have such a trashy biased mainstream news channel on these shores.

IT is really becoming the bane of my life! After yesterdays Windows 11 update debacle it’s been confirmed it has screwed my laptop and the geeks can’t sort it in a decent amount of time so I’ve just had to drive 30miles to go and collect a brand new laptop from our regional ITHub, then 30miles back and now have to go through the 2hr set up process to get it all my profile and work downloaded again .

After yesterdays Windows 11 update debacle it’s been confirmed it has screwed my laptop and the geeks can’t sort it in a decent amount of time so I’ve just had to drive 30miles to go and collect a brand new laptop from our regional ITHub, then 30miles back and now have to go through the 2hr set up process to get it all my profile and work downloaded again .

Honestly mate don’t do it! 5 of us in the same crew room all having to get them replaced for the exact same issue! When I spoke to the Geek Squad in person he said would have been easier to simply have replaced all the laptops as they’re wasting so much money and man hours on correcting the issues because of the current kit we have that in the end they’re replacing more than they’re resolving !!

That’s why I wasn’t able to put it off anymore and as a result lost access to everything including the device itself

Look on the upgrade page and see if there is a laptop swap programme as you may need it as a back up. That was the IHub advice to tell all my lads to cover themselves in event of more of this issues.

Mine took about 7 minutes! We've had a few that have had similar issues to yourself and I know the team have had to issue a few replacement devices.
