But there were plenty of their fans running wild when they played Ajax, but I get your point.I don't think it is preventing hooligans from the Maccabi club travelling that is the driving decision here...more that it is the risk that the presence of supporters of Maccabi might attract other groups (not football) representatives to stage demonstrations (and no doubt attract counter demonstrations) that then might spill over into violence. But to discuss in more detail would no doubt disappear down a political rabbit hole so I'm not going any further with that train of thought.
