It is the absolute ignorance of the muppet driving very differently from the rest of the folk on the road. It's that sort of thing that causes problems on the road.That cost you an extra 40 seconds. How dare they?

Impatience and aggressive driving are what causes accidents.
It could have been a tractor or truck doing 40 or less.

Clearly was a car so no restrictions (as stated in OP) Would understand if was a van restricted to 50mph or the like but this was not.
Agree that aggressive driving is an issue but by the same token slow and indecisive driving are major causes of accidents too.

Differences in speed is a major cause - not many accidents are caused by driving too slow as a single factor. Intolerance and impatience caused by slow driving, however.......

You’ve come across one of my biggest pet peeves with this one! Garage I use every week as it’s the only one available to me before I get on the M6. I regularly get stuck behind some pleb doing their weekly shop, Wednesday was my personal favourite sat waiting behind a car so I could fill up, had to wait ages for them to come out load their shopping and then they proceeded to sit there eating their meal deal!At petrol stations they should have the facility to buy a chocolate bar or a bag of crisps and a coke...no more...

I had to get out and knock on their window to get them to move so I could refuel and the queue behind me could move whilst they were completely oblivious! Selfish doesn’t even begin to describe it!
My wife made tea tonight, some sort of Chinese chicken curry. I'm not sure what she put in it but it's lethal in the atmosphere. I'm coughing, my nose is going as though it's full hay fever. The food is actually nice, the side effects are not.
