Not all that. We also have “Bayne’s”, much better and they still do macaroni pies.
I do miss Gregg’s sausage rolls & steak slices.

For the holiday, been going up motorways.. everytime we stopped to charge the car.. we got a sausage roll.
At the Silverstone/Bicester services, there is a Greggs right next to EV charging. Brilliant

Sticking Greggs into airports was a masterstroke. First and last stop when flying in/out
Doc’s visit required, or maybe a visit to Urgencia(A&E).
Had a bit of discomfort way down around the bladder area after pee-ing the last couple of days. Noticed the toilet bowl was showing a bit pink last night. Check the tackle, only to find bright red blood oozing from said tackle - probably constituted half doz good sized drops.
No problems this morning other than feeling a fair bit of discomfort around the bladder area, and feeling sickly. Gut feel, no pun intended, is with the hot sweats the last two days I’ve got an infection….

I totally agree there's better, but sadly not many farm shops in airports/every high street/drive thru's etc

Our main local butcher does a great sausage roll - far better than anything Greggs mass produces. Local farm shop also does nice ones

Greggs are a total success story, bringing employment around the country, paying taxes. They've expanded beyond the simply pastie and sausage roll. Their shops are clean and consistent. They don't claim to be better than a farm shop or a butchers but they do a heck of a job. All power to them, and keep making your Belgian Buns
