You get in the emptyist inside lane and cruise past.You then continue in that lane as long as you can.
You havent undertaken anyone, your lane is moving faster than theirs..

I drive to and from Glasgow most Fridays. The M8 is only 2 lanes for much of it. Often there are hardly any cars on the inside lane and the outside lane is packed with cars doing about 60.
I don’t see any problem driving slightly faster than them on the inside lane.

Undertaking is only an issue when it's someone swapping from lane to lane.

The standard of motorway driving is horrendous and I re-iterate my desire for a test to be passed before you are allowed to drive on the motorway.

Ok, I've finally had enough of the holier than thou bunch on this forum who let it be known that they are perfect drivers, obeying every traffic regulation and sneering at anyone who doesn't. We all sometimes do questionable things behind the wheel. Anyone who claims they don't is a liar.

I’ve seen pupils being instructed on the A2 ( motorway standard 3 or 4 lanes) sitting at 60 in lanes 2 or 3 when the inside lanes are empty for at least 300 yds and they aren’t even closing on them.
I do agree though, the standard of motorway driving is terrible now.

Check in forms where your kids are included but don't have the option to A click "same as above" or copies the address.. IE we all live together.. had to write the address 4 times.. then it wouldn't let them not have email or phone .. so had to put mine in 4 times
