Ordered two pairs of speakers from Amazon yesterday, the company who took the order have only delivered one pair but the order is showing as being completed. Really can’t be bothered with the carry on

Can't blooming sleep...... it's muggy and the dog is snoring like a saw-mill 
The cicada that had found its way into the false ceiling in the bathroom. There’s pipework in there for the aircon unit, and I guess it’s not sealed around it. At first I thought we had a major issue with the aircon. What a racket!
Thankfully, when I went for a bathroom break around 1:30am it had found its way into the bathroom proper. I might have ’accidentally‘ stood on it.

Dilemmas, 2 funerals on the same day and time 25 miles apart.
One is our good friend and neighbour the other is an old aunt of the wife's, I've never met her or her husband.

When our baby was 4 months she started sleeping through to 7am which was lovely. Now she's 7 months and she wakes up at 5am every day without fail. Very annoying because you can't get her back to sleep since she thinks it's morning, so one of us has to get up and sit with her.

Reminds me of the time my nephew's African Grey decided to take a drink from the toilet pan in the middle of the night. Just as my sister sat down for a pee in the dark.
Seemingly lots of loud screams and squacks woke the neighbours.

I have done it before. I normally stick to ear buds but tend to have a speaker in my beach bag. Anyone decides to impost their musical tastes on everyone is at risk of a reminder that they are one bad, overly loud, hip hop song away from a loud blast of Slayer or, for special occasions, Leicester's finest, Lawnmower Death

I can see how it could be irritating
I quite like the weekend atmosphere on the public beaches when the locals descend for the day/weekend, invariably a few bring the boom box &/or local drums and the music with the smells of beach cooking is cool
In comparison the beaches with beachfront hotels are very very quiet/peaceful

Trouble is if you are close by it sounds like music, though probably not to me taste. If you are further away it is just a continuous thumping.
We were forced to move and no more music rest of day.
It was just one group forcing everyone within thirty yards to hear their din.

Luckily if I turn right at the end of my road its 2km public beach and left is 2km hotel fronted quiet beach so I can choose. And being so close I never spend the day at the beach anyway, more usually it’s just for a walk/quick dip

Painting.
For reasons I don't understand, MrsA cancelled a long-standing arrangement for a previously used painter/decorator to do our house over the summer. It seems she decided we would do it ourselves. After a 5 week summer holiday she's back to teaching. No painting done.
I've taken a random day off to chill and find myself painting the shower room.
I hate it and I'm terrible at it.

I like to keep up with local news even if I’m not there just now. I see it’s that silly time of year (back to school) when parents send their kids off to school in shoes that are nothing like the stated uniform and then complain their child was sent home/excluded
