Not supplied as such, but presented by. However it works, for the BBC to have the ability to provide four different forecasts for the same area is pretty impressive.
Always go with a combination of Accuweather and Met Office
I'm not watching any news for the next few days. Am sick to death of it!Usually enjoy the news for a short time except Kay Burley.
However today has been “the pitts “ . All morning will they, won’t they, well all week actually and how long will it last.
I knew I would not be watching tomorrow as something is happening around 3000 miles away. Lo and behold I turn on tonight and there is some sort of concert a day before. At least it took me less than a minute to get through Sky News @9 p.m!
I weatherman got it right here, 41C.....I reckon you fry an egg on your car no problem, still too hot for the beach.

I understand that, and I'm not having a dig....just frustrated after 3 weeks of almost being horizontal after breaking my back falling from my loft hatch, and being self employedI'm not unhappy here, its just a bit tedious when you're excited for a new job and still stuck in your old one![]()

So they had to go with a company who had little experience of forecasting UK weather over one (The Met Office) that had 94 yrs. Brilliant. In any case. I was once told that British weather is generally the same two days out of three - so if it was different today (Monday) from yesterday (Sunday) then tomorrow (Tuesday) will be same as today…then Wednesday it is likely to change. I guess this might work when the weather is changeable/unsettled rather than when a high pressure system sits over the country.Yes I believe the BBC use some French company for their forecasts.
edit - from Wiki - On 6 February 2018, BBC Weather changed supplier from the government Met Office to MeteoGroup after an open competition.[1] The Met Office had been the provider of weather information for 94 years.[2][3]

Don't believe the Met Office is any better than the rest. It's in Exeter, about 15 miles from where I live, and can't even get the forecast right here!So they had to go with a company who had little experience of forecasting UK weather over one (The Met Office) that had 94 yrs. Brilliant.
