Random Irritations

Getting served with pats of butter in foil that appear to have been kept in the freezer.
Spending the next ten minutes with one under your armpit, one squeezed between the palms of your hand and one with a tea/coffee balanced on top.
Last resort, pile a few serviettes on top and sit on it.
Even then your toasted bun gets mangled. 😖

Put it through the toaster machine thingy :)

The phrase 'too good to be true' has never applied more than it does to some of their 'deals' I've seen. Golf shoes for a pound and all sorts.
They must buy your search history, about 3 months ago I bought a half inch fully insulated socket set for about £350.

For about 2 weeks after I kept getting offered “similar” for £5!

A request has gone in to make Temu a spam word so that it automatically gets caught by the system. It's worked for crypto so..........Something else will crop up but we can but try.

Oh I didn't know you guys could do that. We’ve missed a Christmas Forum opportunity there

We could’ve had an advent calendar with a different word/name each day behind the door, to be marked as spam for that day! Could’ve had everything from LIV to WHS, from Mel to Arthur & from Footie to Cyclist :p
(forum names used purely for illustration purposes)

;)

I would never go on the Temu website never mind buy anything from there.
I've bought loads of stuff from Temu, never had a problem.
I tell a lie, one order arrived a day late and they gave me £4 credit.
My latest order...
hooded fleece jacket
Work boots
3 x shirts
10m cob Led light strip
2 x USB C spiral cables
3x boxer shorts
Led odds and ends
£65

Temu ....post items out individually to avoid paying import taxes and the like.
Dont complain about tax dodgers if you use Temu
There is a £135.00 import duty threshold for items from overseas.
They aren’t doing anything which isn’t available to every other company sending items to the UK.
All items sent to the UK incl VAT(were applicable) and orders over the Import Duty Threshold are subject to import taxes, it’s all laid out in their T&C’s.

I’m more worried about them trying to empty my bank account and use my details for criminal purposes.
We use Apple Pay when making any purchases from their site, they have none of our bank details.
