No it hasn't.
What about deaf people , they are allowed to drive and can't hear peripheral noisesDangerous. Headphones block out peripheral noise. Same if any cyclists do the same.
I guess you drive a clapped out old diesel then .No it hasn't.

Majority of vehicles since 2016 have come with it.

Interesting, do you have a source for this fact? I had a 2019 335d that didn’t have it (unless I wanted the Tech Plus pack at an additional £3k).Majority of vehicles since 2016 have come with it.
Volvo V 90 18 plate ,had to add AA in 21 when I bought it and got impression looking at lots of other cars of same ilk they didn't have itMajority of vehicles since 2016 have come with it.

My 2016 C43 AMG also didn’t have it. I think the M340 does but possible as it has the Tech Plus pack.
Now I think about it, the wife’s 2018 X4 didn’t have it nor did her 2021 CLA45.
Might have to make a complaint to BMW and Mercedes about our vehicles lacking standard equipment.
My fav.. Gen Z drivers (usually female) driving with big headphones on... thank God they dont get points - which are reserved for middle aged men sitting in stationary carsWhat about deaf people , they are allowed to drive and can't hear peripheral noises
I think you'll find that whilst BT has been standard on VAG and many cars, AA or ACP definitely wasnt standard on VAG,and was a cost extra.Should get your money back..my 2016 Alhambra had it and that was a SEAT
Even if it didn't have android auto did it have Bluetooth?
Plenty of cars out there with that
I agree that AA and carplay are not standard but Bluetooth pretty much has for years. There is no genuine excuse for handling a phone in a car nowadays. The Porsche driver certainly didn't have one. No way his car wasn't linked up to his phone. Many people can't afford the luxury of a 'modern car'.
There will always be exceptions but drowning out noise does reduce safety. Deaf people have no choice. Wearing headphones is a choice and shouldn't happen. What about deaf people , they are allowed to drive and can't hear peripheral noises

I don't regard eight years as a long time.
I also doubt that it's the majority of cars since then, but hey, life's too short.
No Netflix?
Black Friday deal only £85, built in dash cam aswell which every car should have with the state of driving out there
Bargain
Data point for one VAG brand. We are long term Skoda Fabia estate fans. (Because it is the perfect golfer's car - small, but with a big boot). My wife's previous 2012 one had neither Bluetooth nor Android Auto, my 2017 one has BT but not AA, my wife's current 2022 one has both. That said, I find AA to be a little bit flaky. Might be the car, might be the phone, but it's not bulletproof yet.I think you'll find that whilst BT has been standard on VAG and many cars, AA or ACP definitely wasnt standard on VAG,and was a cost extra.
Not all cars and for some it is an optional extra.Android auto and apply car play been standard on cars for a long time
