Heard some "scurrying" on the roof last night, or possibly in the loft.

Can't get to the area from the loft hatch. Call to pest control imminent 😒
We had squirrels in our loft earlier this year. Cost us near enough £600 to sort out in the end. Not cheap.

Try a plug in rodent deterrent first of all. May save yourself a bigger bill. They have proved very effective for us, rural location with plenty of field mice living nearby.

"Plug-in rodent deterrent" - that's a new one on me. I now have an imagine of an electronic version of Tom telling Jerry to bleep off

Exactly the same situation we're in. There's been a plug in deterrent there for ages, I've changed the settings this morning

It's a beautiful day
Little wind
No rain

Perfect for golf

But I'm stuck in painting

Now it's annoying me.

Can you rain please???
Please see my post in the "Gladdens the heart" thread - if you stopped posting on the forum you could have finished painting the whole house by now and been halfway through a round of golf! :ROFLMAO:

I'd like to meet the sociopath who designed the roof bar attachment mechanism for my 5-series saloon.
90 minutes into a 20 minute job on any other car and one of the tiny bolts has just slipped into a slightly less tiny recess in the car and is now irretrievable. Obviously they only provide the exact number needed - no spares.

Most of the speed bumps around out way are ineffectual if your car has a moderately wide wheelbase.

I just drive right over them and don’t even feel that they are there.
They can damage the inner walls of your tyres.
Especially on low profile tyres.
My mate had an Audi Q8 they had the red bumps in his estate and wrecked his tyres

Being asked to do something which is not at all in my job description. How to politely tell my soon-to-be-line-manager (5th one this year) "I have absolutely no intention of doing that, no."
I stupidly agreed to show willing and now it's turned into a whole massive thing that I definitely don't want to be doing. Damn. 💩

We have some roads in the town where there is 20 mph limit and ramps.

Both are an utter waste of time because you would not want to be doing 20mph through the potholes.

Having to keep changing radio channels as Christmas songs being played WAY TOO EARLY!

Then settled down to watch a film, only to find Sky showing Christmas themed films WAY TOO EARLY!

I mean I love Fairytale of New York but just couldn't listen to it. It's the middle of flipping November and we've only just got over Halloween and Bonfire Night.

Its a bit precise!
Have you left a few tools out?
What breed of blighter are they?

Unbelievably square! 😃 Think it's squirrels, but that's surely cut off main access.

I've put a grille over the drainpipe incase Ratty McRat is running up there and into the hole!

The hole has been patched with plywood and inside expanding foam.

I'd have put some rat/mice poison/bait up inside there first before sealing it up.
