Car insurance companies.
Been with LV for about 5 years, reasonable price rises most years. This year +£150! the letter had nothing about phoning them to discuss or if I am thinking of leaving, just "if we do not hear from you by the 21st then you are no longer insured"
So had to go through the palaver of the comparison websites, got a quote from Allianze £200 cheaper than LV, also its better insurance as legal aid and hire car is included... The really irritating thing? Allianze is a LV company

Folks, whilst it is fun to question who is and who is not a returning member, the powers that be frown upon any discussion of members who have left, either pushed or of their own choice. Can we move on from this please, otherwise one of us has to do a really dull cleaning up process

Around here we had a total of 108mm of rain in June, July and August combined. So far we are at 149mm for September and yet more forecast for Sunday.

Serious traffic delays in Reading. A main roundabout unpassable and long, long delays. A 20 minute journey home took 90 minutes last night

Later today going to head back home down south - going myself by train. My Mrs tells me to wear jeans, not shorts (as is my wont April to October). Why? Apparently blokes my age wearing shorts when it is not that warm and likely to rain just looks expletive (her word).
