Rain, rain, rain!

Was going to meet a friend for a knock round panshanger but the rain took its toll and course is closed. Shame as its a nice day out.

Yup - same here - close until Monday inspection...and so I gaze out my kitchen window

Blue skies
Smiling at me
Nothing but blue skies
Do I see

:(

Closed here as well but reckon we will open tomorrow if ok today; partly because the Daily Mail foursomes is on and has already been cancelled once.

I wasn't intending playing today, as I've the flu, but it is beautiful here today. Not a cloud in the sky, no breeze. So I'm off out for a few holes.
The wife thinks I'm taking the dogs for a walk up the beach;)

Beautiful morning here as well - unfortunately I'm not getting to golf today - think of me when I'm sitting on the track at a football match this afternoon trying to keep my cameras dry - forecast has it turning nasty by 3pm.

Ah well - golf tomorrow.

10.30 and it's glorious in mansfield. However a day full of house jobs and no golf planned. Typical.

very frustrating - beautiful day - nicest for ages - but downpour overnight so no golf for yet another week. By time I next play (assuming doesn't snow) I'm thinking I won't have hit a ball for two months - expensive non-golf:(

Played this morning. God was it cold and windy, very wet underfoot made for testing conditions. Caught the rain the last 3 holes so cant grumble. Felt for those heading out though when I came in as it hosed it down for at good hour. 10 over for 18 holes in those conditions was a decent score so might reward myself with a brewski tonight:cheers: Hope the mighty Spireites can batter Bristol this afternoon and be a good day all in all

Just come off, played 18, some forward tees and mats but otherwise, more than acceptable.

Was meant to have played today but although course was open the general view was it is unplayable and should have been closed. Decided that there was little fun to be had in those conditions. Have just come back from a brisk 3 mile walk to get some fresh air. set off in lovely sunshine and now it is pouring with rain again. Looks like the driving range in the morning.

Only 5 of us ventured out today in the rain and gales. We only managed 9 holes before it got the better of us but it was good to be out there.

Course and driving range shut all weekend so of to the golf dome in Seaton Carew to play 18 holes on the golf simulator, looking forward to it, especially since it will be dry, warm and no wind!

Hit the range this morning. Bitter in the keen wind but a good session. Not sure even if we're open tomorrow how much it will have really drained even though the front nine is pretty good normally. There has to be a tipping point that even if the water isn't sitting, the traffic playing the same nine all the time must start having a detrimental effect

It'll be open and perfectly playable is my guess
