Professional Golf

In a normal round of golf you are walking about 5 miles or so. The body is moving, almost continually in some form or other.

I know they do warm up at TGL - but are they going through the same process as they would at a tour event?
I don't track their movements. But, as professional athletes, I assume so.

They probably have gym workouts every day, personal trainers, dieticians, etc. It would be a massive oversight if they then just turned up to a golf simulator, like we would, and start bashing balls whilst drinking beer and eating burgers

At any rate, players have been injured before, well before TGL. And I wouldn't be surprised if it was this early in year, for those who have had a pretty long winter break. So, without a vast amount more research to determine a pattern, I wouldn't point at TGL as the reason players are getting injured.

Westwood in the final group over in Singapore, with Billy Foster on the bag. He finished T18 in Hong Kong so seems to be in some sort of form.

It's probably fair to say, he won't get too many more opportunities to win events at his age, and there are some pretty good players up the top of the leaderboard, but I'd love to see him get a 🏆in Singapore.

Hearing reports played delayed and entry to the course delayed due to a shooting outside the complex

The shooting was last night - apparently they eventually apprehended the suspect near the course on Sat morning with the pursuit going on to the course at one point.

Of course a shooting in the USA doesn't even qualify as news ("news" is, by definition, some sort of change from normality). The USA averages out at well over 100 gun-related deaths EVERY DAY .

Hopefully it hasn't resulted in another arrest for Scheffler

That putt will haunt Richard Lee for a while.
Bryson back in the winner’s circle again.
Really hope Ludvig gets the job done tonight, love how quick he gets on with it.

Bryson looked genuinely gutted for him to be fair, think the nerves got the better of Richard over that one.

I do really like watching Aberg play. Look at the shot, walk up, hit it. No fuss, no messing about. Shows you simply don’t need to stand over the ball for ice ages to play great golf.
