My new baby girl

Hi all

My wonderful wife gave birth to our first baby this evening after 20 hours labor. I can not think of anything that went to plan all day apart from the end result. Baby May is 7lb 3 with brown hair and blue eyes, she is as beautiful as the day is long.

Oh the sleepless nights and the tired days, they pass so quickly and then you have the sleepless night worrying if shes alright and eating at uni.

were you there for her birth - nothing like it, you never forget.
my daughter is 25, just finishing her degree and getting ready for her Masters but I still remember her as the the tiny baby I used to carry on my forearm.

(funny, though I was there for both my boys, I can't quite visualise the 6 ft 3 in, 20 stone lump in quite the same way!)
