Played with the same ball until the bloody 17th hole. Hooked it off the tee straight into an overgrown mess of trees, undergrowth and lots of thistle type savagery.

Gutted really as it cocked my score up on a very good back 9.

lost 2 today,just bought them as well,brigestone treo,I hope
they perform better than they have today,it was a bit windy
but off the tee I or THEY were all over the place.at 29 quid
for 24 balls they would be ok,try again tomorrow

Nope. Managed to consign 3 to the practice bag though. One of my W/S balls was frighteningly scuffed up, I think it's managed best part of 54 holes though.

Played 36 holes each day,over 3 days at Ashby Decoy and Forest Pines lost 2 both into the water at the short par 3 on different days. Only got 2 ProV1's left need some more freebee's.

3 for me im afraid.....One on a fairway off the hosel of my 5 wood that i was striking perfectly all day and 2 off off tee boxes into all kinds of wilderness.......
Its a pity relly as i finished with 30 points and had i at least got 2 points a hole fo the 4 i scratched then i would have been lookin at another cut......Still there's always next week.

I hit 2 scary hooks(good 60-70 yards left) down 16 and 18 and still managed to go round with the same ball and i made 2 pars on them holes

No lost balls here today, hit the ball great.

More in danger of losing a ball with the putter...42 putts including 5 3 putts and 2 4 putts for a nett 78.

sickening isnt it Murg.......
knowing that it was so close yet so far......
For the last 6 comps iv had 36,34,33,31, gross 88 net 70 and a 0.3 cut last week and that 30 today with 4 Blobs.......Talk about knocking on the door.......I dont think anyone inside is listening to me though.....

Played the same crappy nike ball all day. felt like i played ok, 34 points. did not strike the ball all that great but not all that bad.

Lost 3 yesterday including one which was the final straw and led to a rare NR. Two were rank bad shots but the 3rd we all saw come down short and left of the par 3 13th and when we got there we couldn't find it anywhere. As I was already way over my handicap and we were getting pushed from behind and one of the guys was on a good score I couldn't be bothered going back. Still none the wiser as to where it went.

What a difference a day makes though. Shot a nett 73 (+3) with four double bogies on the card but kept the same ball all the way round. Pretty tough today with a pretty gusty wind

Really blowing a gale today and it was pushing L-R (towards all the OOB) and I lost a brand new Z-Star then the next hole I played a 5 Iron lay up which managed over 200 yards (down wind - rock hard fairway, with high draw) and found water.

All in 2 balls lost and I played like a plonker.

High winds , VERY heavy showers but finished with the same ball. 2 of our group gave up after 6 and 8 holes respectively but the other 2 of us soldiered on through an absolute soaking for 3 hours
