Yes they are still members of both in the same way the likes of Rory etc have - unless of course they quit their membership to the ET
They still manage to get in enough events to keep their tour card on the DP tour

Believe players need to play in 4 genuine events (i.e. not majors) in the year to keep it going. Don't think they all do, but if they think they have shot at the RC then generally they will.

Maybe not "genuine". With co-sanctioned PGAT events in the US & Dominican Republic, they effectively only need to play 2 or 3 genuine DPWT events (depending on whether they are in The Open or not).
And this isn't far off what some have actually done.
There are people still trying to gaslight everyone into believing these players are still "supporting the DPWT" and that this is a good thing for the tour!

Rasmus Hojgaard for example played on 8 ET events last year ( including his home open and a co sanctioned event )
Norgaard played in 7

Manassero in 4
So a mixed bag

On the one hand, planning to give negative news just prior to teeing off would seem a petty, vindictive move.
Then again, based on the last 4 years who knows!
Kinda hope it is some kind of positive conclusion, so if nothing else people can move on from it to a degree.

Does seem very late in the day - LIV announced changes a while back
Wonder if they say we will asses of the coming season and then make a choice at the end ?

Be amazed if we LIV get points, the timing seems to be designed to be as disruptive to the players as possible.
Golf badly needs a regulatory body to sort this nonsense out.

To regulate what exactly? Tell the nasty OWGR to play nice and give Liv some points? What if they agreed Liv shouldn’t get them?
I thought Liv was all about being disruptive?

Interesting about a regulatory body
What would they oversee ? The tours ? And what would the remit - to have some uniformity
Obviously the sport has the R&A and USGA as the rules etc
But each tour is administered autonomous from each
Would a regulatory look to have the tours playing the same way ?
What really should happen is maybe LIV have a representative on the OWGR board

I think that’s a good decision and means there is something to play for in ensuring top 10 finishes and hopefully means a chance at major qualification for some of the guys.

Seems reasonable enough Top 10 - for a no-cut closed shop you obviously shouldn't be getting points for finishing at or near the bottom.
I have literally no idea: how many points are the top finishers getting here compared to, say, a normal DPWT Event, Rolex DPWT event, normal PGAT event or Signature PGAT event?

Looks at this weeks events the LIV event has a lower field rating but the winner gets more on the LIV event
23 points to the LIV winner
20 to the ET winner
59 to the winner on the PGAT

Also surprised they limited it to so few places when they've had this for a while.

If a Tournament does not operate any cut then unless the No Cut Tournament Exception below applies, the value of Ranking Points awarded to the bottom 15% of players who complete all scheduled rounds shall be zero."
Suspect there was pressure do something unusual.
But at least it is some movement, and the better performers will be rewarded.
Hopefully it encourages more players to play in more other tour events to help the field strength. If the DPWT announcement happens that will help.

Does seem a little bit of a fudge - not sure how it compares to the signature events which are smaller fields
I don’t think it will help too much with access to majors
