LIV Golf

Lots of mood music that Koepka isn't going to fulfill his last year of his contract on Liv (2026).

Apparently the net result of that would be at least a year (2026) suspended from the PGA Tour and lose the equity in his team.

However he could be welcome to play a DPWT season while he waits for PGA Tour status.

If all that happens who becomes captain of Smash GC ?

All very interesting stuff to see how it develops.....

Don’t think Koepka would mind too much playing on the DP tour or picking events to play on that tour - has done it before

What the PGAT will be interesting but he has always seemed to be one of those players that’s just never really been bothered about tour golf and it’s only rhe majors he is interested in

Same as with the joining/signing rumours, will wait for proper news.

Whatever, he needs to re-find some form. 31st must have been disappointing (previously 5th & 3rd).

The Netflix stuff about him was very interesting

At some points he seemed very laid bare and not bothered about stuff but very much an individual who just doesn’t seem to have any interest in teams etc

Think he still doesn’t wear any LiV kit etc

Well 2 out of 16 not the greatest ratio 🤔😁
Bit of a pointless petty back biting stat considering you can make the same argument for DPWT and those 2 happened to be the LIV players in Rahm and Koepka!

Still amazes me how bitter and sad some on here are towards where someone chooses to play. God forbid someone offers people more money to do their job elsewhere.

But that is not the reason they all went to LiV. It was always about growing the game and playing less golf so they could spend more time with their families.

Apart from Brooks who said he took the money because of injuries.
Honestly who cares. It’s been a few years now time people grew up and moved on and just got on with enjoying golf instead of sad bitter comments trying to play high and mighty.

Enjoy the golf that is now more varied, more global (not just on LIV - we're now seeing top players supporting events across the world). and more interesting and appealing to a broader and more varied audience. (y)
