Jobs

Systems Analyst work 8.45 to 5.30 daily so no chance of weekday golf, the rest of my weekday is at home with my missus and nippers.
Weekends I manage two rounds one on Saturday at 11 after taking my eldest to dance class for an hour and a half (my chore to get Sundays game!) and on Sunday at 9am so Im home just after the missus gets up as its her lay in day.

I'm a Supply Teacher and fit school around my golf!
I've just taken over as Club Captain so I guess school will be even more "back seat" than usual for next 12 months.

Sales manager at a used car dealership in Bexhill.
I officially work a 5 1/2 day week (every Saturday, no Sundays thank God) but have always taken a full day off every other week as I found out that trying to leave the showroom for a half day at 1 o'clock meant actually getting away at 2.30 by the time the service manager and admin staff had finished with their problems.
When I join the local club in April I will start taking a half day again to enable me to get out every week.

Drive a JCB JS220 Excavator. Work hours varies from 8 hours in the winter to 12 in the summer p/day.

I just tell the site I have something planned and off I go for my game of golf. Most are ok and still pay the whole days wages hehe.

Andy.

I'm a site manager so finish at 4.30 during the week and get every weekend off. But way things going might be on permanent vacation due to the current "credit crunch. :D

Product designer/engineer/project manager/company cat. Work 8.00 to 16.30 Mon to Thu, and 8.00 to 13.30 Fri. Play Friday PM, sat AM, and Sun AM during winter, and add in Mon and Wed eves during summer. Certainly get my value out of my membership fees. Also get quite a few extra holidays during the year, as I go to China about 4 times a year, and accrue spare days off in exchange for missed weekends.

Insurance Claims Handler---mainly motor personal injury but with public liabilty injury claims arising from your household policy. We have flexi-time--allowed 1.5 days a month.

I was forced out of work at the height of my MS attack, sold everything and lived off proceeds for 3 yrs home educating the kids and doing the odd job for family and friends when I felt I could. Now settled into the home ed stuff working 24/7 lol, but getting great rewards for it. Skint most of the time but who cares.

I'm an engineer for a software company, work flexi time, boss doesn't mind if we take time as long as the job gets done, work from home once a week too. Usually work 7:00 - 15:30 (office or home), so can be on the course at 15:45 in the summer months

Quite an array of jobs out there that allow for midweek and regular jobs and interesting to hear.

Will have to look in to that as I am currently blinkered by the normal office hours corporate environment...

Office hours aren't necessarily the problem, if you work near your course, and get out at 5 in the summer, there is plenty of time for a quick 9. The problem is having to drive/train for an hour to get to the course from work. If I finish at 4.45, I can be on the course at 5.15, because I have a half hour drive, and I keep my clubs in the boot, ready to go.

Not working Friday afternoons would be a real benefit (which I don't), but only if we stop having societies clogging the tee on Friday pm.

I work the most bloody stupid shifts in the world however it usually allows me to smack a ball most days unless I'm in court!
