My own club only have competitions between April and the first week of October.

so do you get to play every week or every month or like Rick G, every day?

I’ve played 18 comps… gone up 0.1 seven times. Made Buffer 8 times and had 3 cuts amounting to 1.6.

So my current handicap sits at 6.3

I've played 6 comps in total, 2 of which were unofficial as they were handicap-only rounds in order to gain my opening mark of 21.

Of the 4 that 'counted' I've made 2 buffers, gone up 0.1 once, and had one cut - 1.1 - to 20 exact.

10 club comps so far in 2013 plus 3 opens. currently on a run of 5 NRs...

Managed 26 in 12, 19 in 11, 18 in 10, 17 in 09 and 15 in 08 when I joined my club.

Started at 13 now 14!

No cuts, all .1 except one buffer, 3 reduction only in club comps, managed 2 buffers in open plus one .1

I've only managed 7 competitions so far this year. Would love to play more but sadly work and life get in the way. Big Sam plays loads as does Val.

Got some time off in September so hopefully we get an Indian summer.

I've played 9 competitive rounds this season two have resulted in cuts, three buffer zones, the rest 0.1s.
Have managed to come down from 5.0 to 4.5 so far.

10 for me. 8 0.1s back, a cut of .8 and a level handicap round this weekend. I guess that I can call this season a write off so far. I'm hoping for a strong finish and the way I've been striking the ball lately I have every chance of another cut in the remaining 4 medals that I can make.

31 individual qualifiers. actually gone up a shot this year so poor really. Played in 8 pairs comps and 5 team matches this year. Overall a disappointing year so far!

Frustrating year so far.

17 medals and 2 opens

1 x 0.3 cut
4 Buffers
14 x 0.1 increase, including 12 without a cut.

Started at 15.1, currently at 16.2

I will play probably 7 or 8 more hc counting medals/opens this year so will finish at worst on 17 but im not giving up hope of getting down lower than I started. I am capable of a score for sure, my 17 medal eclectic score at my own place is 10 under par gross.

25 Comps, 8 Non counting. 13.1's, 1 Buffer and 3 cuts for a total of 1 so up .3 for the year.
I have missed the buffer by 1 point/shot 5 times and 3 times by 2 shots. Need to get more buffers to get the handicap going south.
