We used to top up a hole in one pot from the "left overs" from the 2's pot. That is, if there is £100 in the 2's pot for a comp and there are 3 2's scored, each 2 gets £33 and the £1 remainder was added to the hole in one pot.Good question Anthony. I am not sure, but assume it must is a percentage. It may be run by the Pro, as you get a credit in the Pro shop if you get a two, and pretty sure it is the same for the hole in one pot. Competition winnings go on your account in the Pro shop as well. Sweep goes behind the bar, so all in house. Suits me fine.
This was scrapped a couple of years ago as the committee was informed that the club insurance policy provided cover for hole in ones. The insurance policy has now changed, or so we are told, so it was decided that there will be no hole in one pot at all
