How do you explain?

I've just ordered a new watch from the net.

It's not hideously expensive, but low/mid 4 figures ish . It's a bit bling, so she is going to notice. It's very shiny too.

I can't just keep it in the car, so sooner or later she will notice it. (heck, even if blind, she'd trip over it).

You wanted it, I assume you can afford it, then buy it and wear it with pride, I have several decent watches and Mrs JP just gets bored when I start looking,
