High Handicap Captain

As an ex Captain I think it's a shame that you have not had the experience as vice capt.

A chance to learn the ropes as such,in most clubs these days the role of captain is that of a figure head and not a CEO as was in the past.

Is this the same in your club? you need to know this as it will make a big differnce to the way you approach your role.

Thanks for the good wishes lads. The two resignations were unrelated. The captain resigned because he delveloped arthrits in his hip. The Vice Captain because of family pressures. I intend to enjoy my year till November then hopefully move to Taffy land. Thanks again
