I've had a nagging feeling for a while the the shafts in my irons weren't giving me much help, always feel as though i've got to give the ball a good slap to get it anywhere. Went for a fitting session yesterday and have ordered a set of Callaway Apex......

Got myself an unexpected Christmas present by winning a TM R15 driver in the raffle at my local range. Never been confident with a driver so maybe this one is the one........

I got the sign off from HID and just booked myself in at Golf Principles for a wedge fitting. Miura, Epon, Vega... something sexy!

I basically did this to make me look forward to Christmas.

Doesn't Louise fancy the M1 ?

I may or may not have just ordered a set of Mizuno MP-5s 3-PW.

The fun may or may not begin now!

Nope, I dare not buy anything myself now as my list was pretty long and varied from a bag of tee's to a lithium battery and loads in-between, so I haven't got a clue what might be dropped down the chimney, but the items I don't get I'll look for in the sales afterwards :smirk:

See the For Sale/Wanted section...just nabbed myself a couple of goodies to replace my newbie Sports Direct purchases! (odyssey metal-x 2 ball putter + cobra stand bag) Although not sure if they count for this thread, as it's technically gifts from my parents that I've chosen for myself.

Although I'm sure to start shooting 10 under my usual as soon as they are put to good use, that's the rule isn't it? :D

Looking through the Diamond Golf catalog. Kid in a candy store right now, but looking at a 4hy and shaft, loft lie machines, ferrules, grips. Could be expensive.

Just bought myself the. callaway tour bag used by the players @ the uspga this year.

As a massive Green Bay Packers fan the Wisonsin cheese theme with green yellow and white colours was too much to resist. Especially at £160 rather than the £330 some shops have it for!

I am thinking about getting myself a new driver, but I honestly have no idea what would suit my game. I am currently using one that I got off ebay for 5 €, some Chinese no-name thing, 12 ° loft, lady's shaft, does what it's supposed to do. So it's not that I need a different one. I am not even sure that my game would profit from a better driver. I just feel that I deserve one :)

I made a resolution in another thread that i start and end 2016 with the same kit so only have a fortnight to get a new driver !!!!!! Any recommendation for something that gives pure distance and is forgiving from past or current ranges ???? I'm only a "nudger" and could do with a few extra yards. (please don't spoil my enthusiasm by suggesting lessons with local pro !!!)
