Have you or are you buying yourself a golf gift for Christmas?

I had read that too which just about brings them into my range for playing. And it doesn't help having a mint CB 6 iron in the livingroom to chip up and down with every day.

I have a funny feeling I'm gonna end up with a set of these at some point.

I have been on the hunt for over a year now for new irons and these are the first that I have seen and tried and want

Joined a Facebook page a while ago where they raffle off golf clubs, mainly Scotty Cameron putters for £5 a ticket or less in some cases.

Won a brand new Scotty Newport 2 counter balanced putter with custom shop head cover on Saturday! Christmas come early.

Are your mc's the most recent model? How do they compare the the cb's in terms of forgiveness?

My MC are the one model before that

Couldnt really judge too much in terms of forgiveness , had a few toey strikes that still seemed to go well , dispersion was tighter, distance was increased by about 8 years average

I thought my Christmas treat to myself was a bushnell tour X but then I found myself with new irons so I'm not sure which is the gift

I'm finding that I get absolutely no feedback from it at all Sam, just a horrible clunk off the face. The 910 gives a lovely dull thwack and I can tell instantly if I've middled it or not.

Think the RS1 blades are the same as my PS9's just renamed? You'll love them, puts the 'buttery soft feel' Mizunos to shame :D
Recently changed my 910 but will never sell it! Fantastic driver and still not sure I like new one better but am persevering for now. Only changed because I thought the new stuff must be better after 5 years but nothing comes close to it in terms of feel.

Just thinking out loud for all those saying they have no feel with the M1...

If we don't want the ball to know which part of the face has hit it (ie more forgiving), why should we expect to be able to tell?

That's my theory anyway for why I think I have less feel with my 915 than I had with my 910.

6 Lessons with my local Pro. Done if for last 2 seasons - best gift ever

I use 4 across Feb & March to get ready for the season, and then use 2 during the season for tweaks

Excited that he now has a SAM Lab installed

Are you saying that because its forgiving its hard to feel the ball? I get that!

That said, its the carbon crown. So its not actually a dead fee its more like a carbon feel rather than metallic. It soon becomes a really cool, solid feel!
