This may be a bit more than eyeing up with a little fitting :D

Titliest 716 CB 5-PW
Titleist TMB 4

And I maybe looking at some nice shiney wedges to compliment the set :D

Exciting! How are people going to take the mick about you being a TM fanboy if your not though?

Going to the national fitting center?

Phil, these self help therapy sessions only work if we are all totally honest with each other :D

Well had a session with pro this morning trying some new clubs that he is looking to stock

And have booked a fitting for when he gets the Titlest cart in - safe to say will be getting new irons :D

Have you hit the 716 CB? Easier to hit that you would imagine?

I have never know anyone to go to a Titleist iron fitting and not end up with AP2s... I dont think they even make the others apart from for the fitting cart.

Yes they were lovely to hit and a lot more forgiving than previous models - they said the forgiveness on the CB forged is as good as the 714 AP2

Me last week, went to National Fitting Centre at Kings Acre, 716 AP2's were 4-5 Yards longer than the AP1's but my dispersion was a lot tighter with the AP1's so went with them:D

Hehe, ye I did read your comments on this earlier. Strange one that, are the lofts the same, I would have expected the AP1 to be longer and not as tight...

I had read that too which just about brings them into my range for playing. And it doesn't help having a mint CB 6 iron in the livingroom to chip up and down with every day.

I have a funny feeling I'm gonna end up with a set of these at some point.

AP1 lofts are stronger but not by much.

**Edit** scratch that, they are quite a bit stronger in actual fact. By the time you get to PW, AP1 is 43 and AP2 is 46.

Probably down to handicap and ability, a lot from the feel and how i hit them on the day, the fitting was excellent and came away with the confidence that they are the right ones for me,
Just seen the reply on lofts.
