I would consider what you have described as both dishonest and cheating, and should be dealt within the groups and the clubs. Someone is attesting that score and they are also at fault. It’s part of peer review imo.
So you go to comittiee and say “ I don’t think he was trying hard enough”😳

Jeez what’s become of us how the hell do you prove that.
Plus your regular pps won’t want to play with a snitch.

So why were they needed for ‘run of the mill’ competitions?
Good question. Not really sure as there wasn't quite the issue before that there is now.

However I know at my club when the wind blows the higher guys struggle. Calm conditions would have seen anyone come through.

“Trying hard enough” wasn’t included, it’s the described failure to comply with the Rules (lost balls, gimmes) which I was referring to.

Are facts and statistics the same thing?
Statistics are of course facts though the interpretation of them are not always so. The statistics I have compiled though of the course show unequivacally that lower handicaped players won between 55% & 60% against higher handicaped players under UHS. Since the introduction of WHS this has moved to between 48% and 52%.

Arsenal beat Spurs 2-1
99.9% of Spurs fans think it wasn't a penalty, therefor it shold have been a draw.

Statistics are still facts?

Use the iG app…I guess it synchs fully with our iG implementation at the club.
As you are unable to enter scores from the IG App from away clubs (as doublebogey7 correctly says) the club is effectively banning players from entering scores from away clubs, if informed your County would not be happy.

Yes, the only statistic I see above is the goals scored by the clubs in that game, the other two statements look like opinions to me, but maybe you can show me otherwise.
Similarly, saying that you are 100% certain that the next time I flip this coin it will be a head is an opinion not a fact.

That's a success for WHS?

Simply ignore the reasons behind lower handicap players generally being more effective in competitive golf?

If you're that simplistic then you're likely to be just looking at a screen but anyone with any appreciation of the game can see that WHS has missed the mark with its over reliance on schoolboy statistics.
