Doesn't work me but thanks for sharing.
On my phone. If I email a photo to myself as an attachment - creating a new email then attaching the photo rather than going to the photo and sending it using email, I am given the option to choose a picture size, medium is typically about 100KB, and these can usually be posted. Small has the photo typically less than 50KB, but I find some definition is lost that small. I think large >500KB may be too large to post, actual size certainly is.

After a few years of going to my mate for lessons and sort of stagnating decided to give the Pro at Nairn a go. He's much more technical, uses trackman and video , where as my old Pro itsxall by eye. The hour we spent yesterday, probably gained more than 2 years from the previous. Worked on hip turn, lengthening my swing slightly. Been given a few exercises to do and movements to work on. A great success played today and though I did top and thin a couple off the tee, it was so much better especially the irons and I would say gained a little bit of distance.
Actually looking forward to hitting some balls for a change. Really looking forward you first game of the season at Royal Dornoch tomorrow.
How could you not?!!?!!!

Had a great days golf today at Seaton Carew and Cleveland with @evemccc and @Maninblack4612
Some great golf, some average golf and some absolute 💩 golf but all played in superb spirit.
A pleasure to be part of it 👌
Really enjoyable afternoon at Cleveland golf links, a true links golf course, wouldn't fancy playing there in a 40mph North wind! Nice to meet you @evemccc & see you again @Beezerk. Don't know whether your warm up game at Seaton Carew improved your golf at Cleveland or wore you out but arriving on the tee hungry & with two minutes to tee off couldn't have helped. 😕. The golf wasn't spectacular but we all had our moments, but the company was good & we didn't get wet. Here's to the next one.

Thanks v much - couldn’t agree more

V much enjoyed the day, a pleasure to play with golfers who are good company and want and do play well, but above all in the right spirit — lovely links courses at Seaton Carew and Cleveland 😁

I can't chip. I'm terrible. I need a lesson.

Yesterday, my chipping was amazing, I was dropping everything to within about 4 feet. I don't believe I was doing anything different to normal.

This game is stupid.
That's why it's called 'Golf' - a four letter word!

Went over the range today to work of some of the stuff from my lesson last week. Was absolutely flushing it. Only had the 50 and my 7 iron, strikes were all middle of the club or slightly towards the toe, but only just off center. Was getting decent distance with the 7 all well over 165, a few past the 170 marker.
Hip stretches and lower pivot stretch really paying off. Only downside a girl who was over hitting balls too nicked half my balls😂

Draw for my club‘s principal scratch knockout comp published today, and for first time ladies have been able to enter, making it a mixed comp.

The same handicap limit applied to ladies so not too many qualify, and just two have entered. But two is great for starters. The ladies will play off their Red (back) tees, and will receive one ‘balancing’ shot on our SI 1 hole.

Good to see the club evolving its competitions.

Our club is doing a lot of mixed comps too. Indeed I've entered the mixed foursomes knockout. Haven't discussed with my partner yet but it brings a tactical element to who tees off which hole - in theory with some being off reds you could make the course shorter overall.

If its a scratch comp what's handicap got to do with it or can you only enter if you have a ce low handicap?

I'm not a fan of combining Scratch comps in this way, certainly not for the principal event! Happy for outstanding Ladies to enter the Men's event, of Men's tees, though - as I've seen happen in Tennis, and fine if Handicap event.

Yes…15 max. And for @IJames…it’s the main scratch singles knockout comp, not club champs, though we did invite ‘our’ Lottie to play in the ’gents’ club championship last year.

How can it be scratch when they have a shot on a hole

I don’t know why there is the ‘balancing’ shot. I’m thinking that maybe the Ladies back tees CR is higher than its par, whereas the Gents back tees CR is lower than par.
It’s scratch - shots and CR are irrelevant, adding in shots makes it a handicap event

It is a scratch competition. There must be a reason the shot is called a ‘balancing’ shot rather than just a shot, and all I can think of is a discrepancy in some way between the ladies and gents back tees and their competition CRs relative to their pars with the shot ‘balancing’ things out. I note that the gents back tee CR/par is 71.6/72 and the ladies it’s 73.4/72. Gents back tee SR is 125; ladies tees it’s 128.

Had a chat with Clubs General Manager and he believes it’s related to the difference in the CRs relative to the pars.

He also told me that for the mixed England U18 championship we held few years back, England Golf got round the issue by having the girls play off a mix of Ladies Red and Blue tees, thereby balancing the courses to be equitable for all players playing a scratch competition. My understanding taken from him was that a ‘balancing’ shot is an alternative approach.

ETA: little bit of research into mixed tee competitions, and apparently England chose not to include the (CR - Par) calc as part of the base course handicap. It is kept as part of the "playing from different tees" adjustment. I guessing our balancing shot is our ‘adjustment’.

First game off the whites at my new club today, very wet and no roll out on the fairways so it was playing long plus some white tees are well back from the yellows, greens were good though given the rain we’ve had.
36 points with a lost ball blob and some silly 1 pointers. Loving my new irons, hitting them really well at the minute, I reckon I’ve gained almost a clubs length from my old set, long may it last…🤣
Played the last two rounds with Stu (Kraxx for the forum) and a couple of members we’ve been paired with, really nice blokes. Looking forward to a great summer of golf 👌
