Captain old fart is in fighting mood for our game tomorrow. We are having a normal grudge match of me vs. Smiffy and the first warm up for next month's Woodhall Spa meet as Pieman and I take on Smiffy and Chrisd. The old fart is banking on wining both.

I propose that the winning team choose the colour of the shirts for next month. Let us know your preferences. I vote for blue and anything but red!! Including green, brown, black and white.

Match prediction - 2 and 1 for the youngsters and 33 vs. 31 in the singles!

I would choose Red,of course your captain, but youve got to keep your team happy.
I would wish you luck for tommorow, but you dont need it.
Just give them a beating, your setting the tone for Woodhall.

There's no reason why both teams have to have the same colour shirts though is there. As long as we have 2 colours and they have 2 colours the job's a good 'un.

If you choose anything other than blue, red, white, grey or yellow I'll have to buy one.

Oh, and don't beat them too bad captain, leave them with a little hope. :)

Talk about pressure - haven't swung a club for at least a month! Oh well, a few swings on the first tee should see me right!

They do a mean breakfast bap that would suffice as a warm up. Last time I was there, I had two. That did mean I had to miss out on the steak pie at the half way hut though.

I am still waiting to learn what my extra handicap allowance will be tomorrow. Not only do I expect an age allowance, similar to the winter fuel allowance, but there is also the disibility allowance cos of the 2 new hips!

Chris - you have anough of a disability due to your partner - we will have to see what we can do!:D

These two haven't played Crowborough yet.
Hehehehehe!!
:whoo:
The Shotmiser is loaded up with Crowborough and charged (might even make 18), It should be 12 degrees and sunny, so the shorts are ready for action, and I am loaded up with balls that I will not need!!:) Looking forward to it. If I don't know where to aim or need strategic help, I am sure that you will point me in the right direction!

With your recent results Chris, it's you who should be giving us courtesy shots mate.
