I think i'd substitute Paul Lawrie or Molinari, but other than that, i like your picks.

(Jimenez and Clarke as vice capains?, not too sure abut the other 2)

No Quiros or Kaymer for me unless they improve their form. I'd have Paul Lawrie and Martin Laird for his US experience assuming he's playing well come selection time.

Might swap Colsaerts for Harrington but jury's still out on him as well.

Why would you ignore Paul Lawrie for a chopper like Quiros????

Kaymer is also struggling these days and I would not include him unless he makes it on merit.

Harrington is on the slide, he'll never win again!

I think Quiros has a bit of flair and determination whereas I think that Paul Lawrie is a bit of a boring old bugger tbh! Both good golfers in their own right though

Kaymer and Garcia worry me. Kaymer's not been in the best of form and Garcia seems weak in the mind at the minute. Although hopefully the Ryder sup will bring the best out of him and his putter.

I'd go for Mannesero over both of the above, he's a great putter, and thats where matchplay is won and lost.

You would genuinely have all these people ahead of Lawrie who is number 6 in RTD.

Poulter a resounding 100% yes he's just an amazing matchplay golfer.

Assuming that you have a totally free hand:

Rory McIroy
Graeme McDowell
Luke Donald
Justin Rose
Lee Westwood
Ian Poulter
Francesco Molinari
Edoardo MOLINARI
Sergio Garcia
Gonzalo FDEZ-CASTAÑO
Martin Laird
Paul LAWRIE

Chosen with pairings in mind.

Kaymer I wasn't 100% sure of, and I like the way Quiros plays, same with Sergio. But the rest of them are either ahead, or are only just behind lawrie in RTD, and I'll think they'll come good in the Ryder Cup

I would at least have had Lawrie as my wild card, he is playing his best golf since 1999 and his putting must rank him in the top 10 on the European tour(you will correct me if im wrong:mmm:). And i have a £5 on him to win a major this year only 2 to go.
