Why can't a high handicapper get spin on the green?

I'm still prepared to take you on, singles matchplay for the wager of your choice. I'll play off the same tees as you, and as a gesture I will let you arrive at the course 4 hours before tee off time (instead of your usual two) to give you plenty of time to practice your wedges, putting, mid irons, woods, a comfort break or three and you could also fit a visit to AG in during the time to try out some new clubs. I will also bring a portable generator for you to plug your mp3 player into so that you can listen to birdsong or whatever it is you listen to on the way round. Whilst you are putting your glove on and getting "into the zone" I will have a slash up against a tree, roll up a fag or two and belch across the fairway.

I'll wait until you find your game (should be warm and sunny and light until 10.00pm again by then). I don't play much from now until March except for club competitions as I find winter golf can be a real pain (leaves on greens and fairways hiding the ball, temps, frost, rain etc).
I'm still up for taking even more of your money but will happily do so in 2010. We'll sort something out, maybe a cumulative stableford home and away or a one off somewhere neutral

I'm playing crap at the moment but I'm quite happy to go whenever you are. I don't make excuses about damp greens and leaves certainly don't bother me. The things they are attached do at the moment, but I'll try my hardest to hit the ball straight.

Well as I'm the self appointed bicker boss, ( if you dont like that then go bicker else where) I would say it's in the right section. You're post was funny and thats not strictly in the bicker rules, but considering all the evidence, I have decided to allow Smiffy's post as it clearly induces bickering and after all that's how it starts.
