Since the Bickering GM Section has been such a sucess since it's inception, do we need to go further and create further forum sections. We could have a Grumy Old Men section. This would obviously be solely designed for the older member who wants to have a rant about everything from the lenght of young guys hair through to the price of Sanatogen capsules and the stunningly beautiful pin up on the front of the lates Saga Holidays brochure. This would be an area where talk of stiff shafts is banned, (well,they are old men)and it would be the domain of purely senior flex with no need to feel embarassed.

Perhaps a sponsor could be sought for this section, a company or organisation with the older person in mind... Age Concern or possibly Help the Aged.

If members are too volatile in their participation in this new section an offshoot of Help the Aged could be utilised to keep them in check, Cage the Aged.

How does this sound for a new forum angle ?

Or would this be seen as positive discrimination or age discrimination towards the younger members here ?

By the way, Surely the use of the ignore facility should be outlawed if your posting in the Bickering GM section. How can you bicker if you don't know who you are bickering with ? takes all the fun out of it surely ?

I think its pathetic.
Supposed grown men taking childish swipes at someone AGAIN.
In my opoinion there's a difference between bickering, banter and downright nasty behaviour.
The only good thing about this is that it is now confined to (hopefully) 1 section so people who come on here to have fun and chat can avoid the crap that will undoubtedly be spouted in here by the folk who dont have an original thought in their head and would be better off in some crappy football forum.
I suppose this was inevitable though.
By making golf less exclusive and available to more people, you're bound to get some of the rubbish joining and dragging this great game down to their level where they are happy.
We'll be having the crowds at the Ryder Cup chanting next...................................

We should have a section for people who want to speak their mind. People who want to speak about how they feel, and not have to worry about upsetting some toffee nosed git from middle England!
If for the likes of Billy he cant have a bit of fun by reading someone else's comments maybe he should join a football forum.
There is a difference in someone speaking their mind and someone telling porkies to the whole forum! No manes but I think he might be from a cartoon.
The real fun I get from this forum is reading posts from H/C telling us how much spin they get on the greens. Yeah right.
