Hard luck son.

You cannot expect the engerlish to back him I mean I have never ever wanted engerland to win anything and each time that chopper Henman played I took great delight seeing him fail.

He will though end up as the best player ever to have played the game from this Island.

Harsh, I can see why he has his critics, personally I am a huge Murray fan, I "get him" follow him and his dog on twitter and you will see he real andy...

Scottish, British, all I have said has been in jest, feel for him. A bit of an always a bridesmaid tag he is getting even with recent successes! His time will come, but he is in an era with some truly great players.

I didnt think Scotland was an island.
Watching Murray is sometimes like watching Tim Henman[very frustrating]and
sometimes predictable.
Anyone with a little sporting knowledge could predict what was going to happen after
the 3rd set.
That said Murray will surely go on to win more slams,i just think hes still not mentally strong
enough to think he can beat Djokovic regulary,as apposed to Federer where i feel Murray has his number.
I also saw nearing the end he was feeling his hamstring,so his body was feeling the strain, even though
he had a relatively easy tournament,so thats a bit worrying.

He'll certainly be right up there in them. Djokovic is a step above everyone at the moment! Murray defo #2 now though imo.

I think Friday's 5-setter against Federer cost him a bit. Djokovic had a somewhat easier match!

He tweaked his hamstring during the match playing a great shot which even Djokovic clapped.

Andy is incredibly unlucky that he has come to the fore during an era when there are 3 other absolutely top, top class players. If he was at the level he is at anytime in the past or probably the future he would most likely have won 4 or more slams by now.

He now seems to have the beating of Federer regularly and its arguable whether Nadal will ever come back to the level he was at in the past so it will probably be between him and Djokovic for most of the major titles over the next year or two and I think he will get the better of Djokovic on occasions and go on to be one of the greats.

That's sad, but there are so many that think the same way.

He better go and get himself one of those battered jobbies and some chips, haggis supper I think they are called he will have to drown his sorrows somehow, second again.

Why is it?

Do you want Cambodia,Argentina,Sweden.....I could go on,to win things?

I support my nation not others,I don't see what is so wrong in that.

Yes but Scotland isn't a nation, no more than England or Wales is a nation.

The nation in the eyes of the world is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Substitute nation with country then, whichever way I am not going to want England to win anything nor Wales,Slovenia,Bulgaria etc etc.....
