Civil servant if so do you play in any off there events have played in regional events and national quailifiers. Will be playing at Royal North Devon next month 36 holes with meals £55, also play in our local soicety thats plays a spring summer autumn meets all 36 hole events at Fleet, Barton-on-sea, and Cumberwell park all less than £50. if you do say hello im the one in trousers

Without going into a long story I'm not a civil servant but still play in HASSRA (DWP) and CSSC events but in the NW obviously. Never got through to the nationals but know loads of mates that have and all have had a brilliant time at mostly great courses. Even the qualifiers offer good value. Our CSSC is at Hillside in Southport this year. Also get 2/3 paid days off each year to play matches against other regions. Get involved, it's what you pay the subs for.

the south west one is at the Players at Bristol, will not be playing as doing the form meet at Blackmoor. yes find them good valve played in a couple open events in the south west and they had a sponsor who gave a a seleeve of pro v balls

You mean that in these economically challenging times, when people are unable to get funding for cancer drugs, our tax money is still subsiding civil servants to have a nice game of golf. Glad the country has its priorities right ;)

I second that, getting paid for not doing your job is almost as bad as getting paid for doing a job that doesn't need doing.
