YouTubers.

Not meaningless to attracting sponsors and the wonga to make him and his family comfortable.

Why are people so negative of success?
I think it’s a combination of jealousy and people not being fan’s themselves it can often come across as negativity towards others success.

I can’t stand Seb and won’t watch anything he posts but I can’t begrudge his success because anyone that succeeds has often put the graft in to get there no matter what our personal thoughts on them are.

Very lucky that he had the opportunity to ride the coat tails of his brother but tbf they don’t half graft

If he doesn't get 3 million views on each video then, surely, it's a pretty meaningless number....

Correct

YouTubers make money primarily from views, not subscribers. While subscribers are important for building an audience and increasing potential reach, it's the views on videos that directly generate revenue through ad impressions and clicks. Monetization is based on ad revenue, which is calculated based on the number of views, not the number of subscribers

It’s also based on the type of content. Business/finance related content makes triple what gaming content does for example.

I’d reckon for 250k views on golf content would be around Ā£800-1000.

At 250,000 views, how much is he earning per video?

On top of free gear, a lump from LIV, a car, etc.
A YouTuber with 250,000 views can expect to earn anywhere from $1,000 to $7,500. This wide range depends on various factors, including the ad revenue generated per 1,000 views (CPM), viewer engagement, and the specific niche of the channe

But he has about 15 staff.
Guy as ceo would be on 150k if not more.

The LIV deal would be a gold mine however much that is.

If Guy is CEO, I'm a plus 4 hcp 😁

If they only earn a grand a video, it doesn't work, so perhaps it needs someone with knowledge of YT to discuss further with any validity.

With the staff count, travel and accommodation alone, it's a hefty expense per video.

Either way, it must work (positive balance sheet) and the very best of luck for continued success.

Guy is 100% the boss etc.

Money would be coming in every month for old stuff and the occasional banger video.

I find peter finch more interesting.

5 guys in his team / company.

All rounds are free. But not big numbers.

I'd debate the role of Guy, irrespective of a title on Co. House.

Certainly not CEO, or the boss.

I too prefer Finch and find his quality some of the very best on YT, but celebrate what RS has achieved.

If views make money and not just subs, would the YouTube golf ranking reshuffle?

I probably watch 80% of Finch and none of Rick, but I am subscribed to both.

Same. Rooms and taco are good too. They also play courses in NZ and Australia I can
Tooms, Taco, Sam, Kwon and Harry are the best ............................ by a distance.
I saw one the other evening where Kwon filmed Taco playing against Lydia Ko.
It was superb and very funny. She is absolutely made for YouTube, great fun and a great sense of humour.

The boys rounds with Bryan Bros at Solena were pure gold, George crumbling during a ā€œno practiceā€ rule change was as fun as Lydia and Taco trying ā€œKorean onlyā€ on the last hole. šŸ™ƒ
