you're going to like this... PING Pro-Am Challenge

Would love this but Gainsborough is aquward to get in to from here .. may have a good long chat with the war office and see

hopefuly will be entering

Either way big thanks to Mike & GM again

If it makes life easier and you get picked I would be happy to put you up for a night, I am only 40 minutes away. Where I work has an office in Gainsborough so I could even arrange to work there and drop you in.

Entered! This looks like a cracking day, especially for the Ping fan-boys like me!
Definatly some great prize opportunities on this forum, well done!

Greg thats a realy realy nice offer mate & much apreciated .. Thank You .. il check wit the woman herself tonight .. wheres the nearest airport for convienence sake

As it seems to work for X-Factor and any other number of shows of that ilk....

I am overweight, bullied at school, I have learning difficulties, I can walk with a limp (if required), I have faced a lot of adversity, I can probably provide a hard luck story about my favourite aunt/grandma/guardian (delete as appropriate) passing away having brought me up after my parents were killed in a horrific zoo based incident....

I'd probably better Google where Gainsborough is as well however I'm in......

Probably Robin Hood Airport... in the unlikely event I get picked, that'll be where I'll head to from Edinburgh if I decide to fly down, as trains are far too much hassle (4 changes). The 4hr 30min drive would be ok, but I'd need to persuade SWMBO to part with the car for a couple of days.

:D

EDIT: Looking, RH airport isn't served by any carrier from Scottish airports, so I'd have to go to Leeds Bradford I would reckon. Would likely be cheaper hiring a car and driving down tbh.

Thanks mate, thats in Doncaster , was searching a bit through lunchtime , i remember considering entering the PYB day last year & the logistics are a bit mad , cant see it being a runner but will check it up anyhow , Thanks

Was hoping to get a MikeH-sized bite to my joke but I will happily settle for two mods and a Fairwaydodger.

To those silly enough to fall for it- here's an appropriate smiley for you: :o

Definitely emailed this!

I think that on the grounds of full representation, it needs a mid/high handicapper, with an almost full Ping set (almost brand new) based in the South West.

Or something like that.

Another fantastic opportunity for us from the GM Team - many thanks Mike. Have entered and I think it would be quite a nice belated 40th birthday present!!! And I have never said a bad word about PING equipment either!!

Wow fantastic opportunity.

I am in just on the chnace that one of the Ping Staffers will be Lee Westwood (I know hes in the USA now but heres hoping)

he's not included, pic in the OP :smirk:

Well done GM, another great opportunity

Wow what a great opportunity! Email will be sent as soon as I get home.

On a side note, I will be living in Scotland by then and if lucky enough I would be willing to meet up with anyone else up North to help save on travel costs.

Hi,
This might be a stupid question, forgive me, I'm new to all this malarkey, but does your handicap have to be verified anddo you have to be a member at a club? Golfshake has calculated my current handicap but I've not had the cards signed etc. Also, I'm not a member anywhere and play at a different course most weeks.

If it's required, what's the best way to get an official handicap quickly?

You dont HAVE to have an official handicap for this but an indication of your playing ability will help as we want a decent spread

Great, thanks Mike. I'll get my details sent off.

Never bothered entering competitions until I saw superscrimpers recently, woman on there wins loads so why not!
