Hogan apex irons still have the sw and some random woods my 1st metal was a Petron impala wood.

A set of regal irons when I was 21 (started golf late!), which I still have in the garage. They look a little like the old-style Ping irons, but are far from Ping quality! Those were in the bag with Fazer Firepower woods (which I still have) and a brick-like Slazenger putter. Balls were anything I could find and then Hippo Double Titanium.

1st set was a mish mash of stuff my dad pciked up from cash converters and other places 1st club was £3 in CC Magnetic 7 Iron, and a howson dj100 putter for christmas, then a Joe Brown IIRC signature 10 iron then started getting howson hunter irons, the driver was unbranded so ill never know

Inherited a set of Dunlop Peter Thompson irons with persimmon driver, 3w and 5w which I think were Swilken of St Andrews. Still got half of them in the garage although the persimmon woods are displaying the odd "conker death crack".

3-8 Joyce Wetherhead Irons aged about 11.
Followed by a beautiful set of Letters Fred Daly [the plain steel ones] The two previous users of those irons both led The Open at one stage. Also owned a set of Maxfli Ossie blades whose pervious owner had led the Ossie Open. Stopped with me though!!

You cant leave it there fella,who were the previous users so talented to lead Opens with your gear!
