2nd hole, drive went left leaving 2nd shot from rough 60yds to pin over a trees and bunker.
S Wedge to 12 inches and birdie
13th hole, par 5. Poor drive, was still 45 yds short of the long green in 3 on a bare lie with flag at the back. Ran the ball right up the long green straight in the hole for another birdie.
Also had a few decent long putts and sweetly hit 5 irons in a howling gale to get my first sub 40 9 hole score and 2nd best 18 hole gross score
