Never had a double strike-out to start before.

Do you have a standard word that you always start with then a follow up?

For me I always start with great, then shine if nowt comes up.

Incredibly annoying. I accidentally rushed into guess 5 when I should have done an 'eliminator' type thing, so had to get very lucky on the last one with a 33.3% chance of getting it right.

But what would you have eliminated. Unless you have a note of all words to date ending in the same four letters you are stuffed, as both I and Amanda have been today, your 5th guess was as likely to be correct as the word itself.

Spoilers ahead but I assume people only come here after they've already done Wordle for the day...


With two guesses left it still could have been found, wound, bound or hound. I guessed found without thinking about it, but if I'd have put 'whiff' in it would have either given me a yellow letter, or no yellows and I'd know it was bound.

Makes sense but I never ever think to do that. Must try harder!!
