The only one I can remember buying was Pink Floyd - Arnold Lane. Prior to that I used to save my money to buy LPs
Shortly after buying it my parents sold the gramophone and bought a tape recorder.
I did have a good collection of Tamla Mowtown and Stax around the same time but they were donated to me.

I had a brother and sister older than me and they bought all the pop stuff.

I remember it clearly, 1973 50p from a record shop in Deptford High Street during school lunchtime - Going Home by The Osmonds, It's on a playlist in the car and comes up every month or two, What the people in the cars around me must think, I couldn't hazard a guess.
LP was a few years later 'The Incredible Shrinking Dickies' by The Dickies, an 100mph punk classic

I have a stack of singles and LP's in the garage but haven't had a record player for years. One day I'll get rid of them.

45s make good money nowdays if in good /excellent condition I’ve paid anything from £5 to £40 for singles for my jukebox.Ive just got Sunshine of your Love by Cream that cost £12.
