Now that I've actually been out without sinking into ankle deep mud and suffering frozen numb hands... let's share: What's in the Bag for 2024!

In 2023 I was trying to get down to just two brands (Mizuno and Cleveland) in the bag but failed..so this is what I'm going with. I only carry 9 clubs by the way:

Driver: Callaway High Launch 454 titanium regular flex. Really easy to hit, likely 15 degrees, looks classy.
5W: Cleveland Mashie FW. Fun club to hit a nice draw with off the tee, still learning how to hit it really well from the fairway
7W: Perfect Club original. Have two or three different replacements lined up, but it's still keeping it's spot in the bag!
5i: Mizuno MX-17
6i: Mizuno MX-17
8i: Mizuno MX-17
PW/Chipper: Cleveland C wedge 42 degrees
SW: Cleveland 56 degree
Putter: Mizuno H-705 putter

I do own more clubs and will sometimes switch some stuff around if needed.

What's in your bag for 2024?

Bit early for me to be fully committed, I am still carrying the winter set up and fiddling with hybrid and wedge lofts ..
I am also so wanting to hit my 3 and 4 cross overs as I want to see if my swing improvements remove the hybrids completely.. plus I just want to see how much extra distance I have.

Driver: Ping G410 SFT. Will hopefully be replacing this in September when it turns five years old. But can't afford a new driver at current prices right now.

Woods: Cobra F9 5W & 7W. Once the driver is replaced these will become the longest-serving clubs in the bag, as they were purchased in 2020. Love the rails on the bottom that stops it digging in, and there doesn't seem to be any new woods that have this at the moment - not even the latest Cobras - so I'm quite happy to stick with the F9s as I hit them pretty well. Haven't had a 3 wood in years as I don't have the speed to launch one properly.

Irons & 5 hybrid: Callaway Rogue ST Max. Purchased the irons at the end of 2022 after a fitting. The lofts are silly-strong but I hit them further and straighter than the others tested so it would have felt silly to complain. Added the hybrid as a 5 iron replacement and just chose the same ST Max model as the irons as I figured the gapping would work then, and it turned out for the best as it's a good hybrid.

Wedges: Cleveland CBX Zipcore 50 & 54; RTX-3 60. Had the CBXs about a year, just bought them new off the shelf as I liked the forgiveness aspect of the cavity back. Added the 60 recently, second-hand as I only use a 60 in bunkers so wasn't bothered really. I suppose that 60 is the oldest club in the bag in terms of when it was made as it would have been 2017 ish.

Putter: Odyssey O-Works #7. This was the most recent addition, albeit a second-hand model from 2020. Have tried a couple of different putters but I really like the #7 head, and the feel of the microhinge face on this one, so hopefully I'll be sticking with it now for this year at least.

My bag is all Titleist inc ball. I reckon if I don't win the Captains away day and submit my card for a decent rise in my handicap I have a good chance of securing a sponsorship deal (y)

You're lucky! Still ankle deep mud in England.

In 2023 I was trying to get down to just two brands
Interesting goal for the year! Certainly more achievable than getting down to scratch, which seems a much more common golfing goal on this forum.

Driver: Tsi2
Stealth 2 7 wood
Then I have a stealth 2 hybrid that carries 215
Titleist u510 3 iron (barely used as I’m not good enough for it)
T150 irons 4 - PW and then the 48 degree wedge too
SM9 52 and 56
Odyssey OG 2 ball putter

Nothing will change, but may replace the 56 for a new one in the same spec as it’s starting to wear.

As per my signature. Fairways are 3&5. Currently the 3 iron is in the bag rather than the hybrid and then it's 4 iron to 46º PW with 52º and 58º wedges.

I suspect the top end will switch out 5 wood, 3 iron and hybrid depending on where/how I'm playing. And it would be very nice to switch out the driver for a lovely fitted Qi10 courtesy of GM!
