Willet splits with Caddie

So just a statement of words based on watching him play golf ? You said he is "too big for his boots" - in what way ? Or do you have zero basis for it just like when you spouted a pile of rubbish about McIlroy

Thought he was ok but the Masters win seemed to change him, then I saw this https://youtu.be/JisPjqfYKJ8
Never met him but just my opinion, theres loads of other golfers I like Phil

I've always though Willett was a decent lad, he came across quite humble after the Masters Win and from what I've seen has been similar since.
He's a confident self assured guy but I don't think he would've sealed the Masters if he wasn't.

Why do you get so het up about peoples opinions on here Phil you do it all the time, you ex forces really do have a problem with "civvies".....

If you're gonna group all service men (people) together I'd suggest you have a problem.

I'm in the camp of not liking the "we" but that's said by loads. But have seen plenty on YouTube where he looks a good lad. Can't see how directing traffic makes you to big for ya boots either.

Couod think of much better reasons to not like someone.

Not "het" up and what's does Ex forces have to do with anything

Again you have made a statement about a player - someone has just asked where that opinion is based on - has he done something to suggest "up his own ass " or " too big for his boots" but you appear to have just deflected it so I'm going to guess you just don't like him - which is fair enough

Always thought he was a decent guy and seemed to be grateful for he's achieved on tour prior to the Masters and seemed in shock and awe in the weeks after winning. Whether he's taken his eye off the ball and got distracted and isn't working as hard is impossible for anyone on here to say but I think he'll get back on a more even keel and be competitive on both tours. If everyone got het up when players split with caddies the forum would have melted with Seve and the way he seemed to go through them

It does seem that Phil really struggles with anyone having different opinion to him.
Not sure why.

The rest of your post is a little odd tho.

Butch Harmon made some telling comments earlier.

Said he watched him on the range yesterday and he noticed he had no shoulder turn in his swing and was effectively just chucking the club at the ball.

He needs a change in Coach ASAP to get his game back in track.

Why do you blame the coach?

Because someone needs to teach him to hit a golf ball again.

Instead of a coach, do you think a milk man could do it? Or a florist?

I think it's his attitude more than ability that's holding him back now.

Im not saying he was destined to be a world beater. But he has probably dont better than he ever imagined and appears to have lost all drive.
Yesterday when he hit water at the 17th he was laughing his head off about it. Just seems to me that he knows he is sorted for life and doesn't care too much anymore.
