I'm amazed, I mean seriously? Anyone who has worked in an office of women, or even been in a group of women, know that they can talk for hours on end about subjects that make a man's ears bleed.
To paraphrase Andy Capp. Men can talk for hours on any subject, women don't need a subject.
By the way, I've used that in discussions with ladies and most cough and then mumble agreement.

I wouldn't mind it, would save me from having to listen to the woe is me Utd fans, droning on about being heartbroken at the clubs decline, try double dip relegations.

An argument crafted to support a specific message. Any conversation where someone is not familiar with the subject matter can leave people excluded irrespective of gender, age race or anything else.

She wants to steer clear of Mrs BiM, who is livid that she, as a Chelsea season ticket holder, will be banned from talking about football in the office.

Incredibly sexist assumption by her that women might not be interested in football; women's football on the rise, women pundits on the rise, Sian Massey running the line in Premier League games. Might I suggest that she has scored an own goal?
