Whats your worst medal score

It's funny I looked back and had a 103 off 11 that I don't remember.

The one I remember as my worst was day 1 of my first ever Club Championships in 2012. Off 12 and looking at reverse gross tee times on Sunday I was already having a bad day when I took a 10 on the last. 2 OOB, lost it mentally, total 97. I was so disgusted with myself, particularly when I saw other scores and realised a steady 4 or 5 would have had me up a lot later. Meant I got up with the early starters Sunday and vowed never to do that again. In fairness since then I've started later on Sunday than I did on Saturday.

Like Fairway Dodger says, sometimes your bad rounds are a blessing in disguise. A horrid, nightmarish, terrible, fiendish disguise.

Last year I chopped it round liphook in the Pearson trophy. A 92 (I think) & an 89 off of 3.

The forum norm is to offer a reason (excuse) for it. I have none :(

100 off 8. And it wasn't that long ago either. I remember standing on the 17th tee thinking that I'd have to hit 2 pars to shoot 100, then hitting my first 2 GIR's of the day. I'm not scarred by it though.......

Par, par finish pretty good at your place Wolfie......

Don't know exact score but I had one medal last year that was high 80's or maybe even low 90's. Started level for the first 8 holes, took a 10 on the 9th and spiralled downhill from there

Lack of talent perhaps?

Should have had medal for the trump trip, there would have been some new records set!

Some wouldn't have finished yet ;)

Why not?

I played badly this week end. 86, 88 in the 36 hole medal. That's about as bad as it normally gets. If I am spraying it about much worse than this, there will lost balls, and I've never seen the point in trying to complete a score once your not going to buffer.
What's the point? Blow your h/cap on the front nine, drop a few more on 10, 11, 12, and then lose 2 drives down 17, why continue just to post a score.

If more people n/r'd when they hit the point of no return, maybe we wouldn't be out there for 4 1/2 hours. I love it when the 3 in front have messed about lining up putts for an 11, just to try to break 100 of a ten h/cap.

I remember topping two balls off the first tee OB on the first hole of our 36 hole championship qualifying competition. Those two were possibly my best shots of the day. I shot over 100 in that first round and just had to laugh at myself for being too serious.

I shot a 92 a few weeks back, that's the worse I can remember in the last 12 years or so. The 3 of us didn't play well and I even kept the tee with a 9! Beer was nice though.

Remember shooting 110 off 13 a few years back.

Around the same time I scored 15 points in a Stableford with 3 of them on the 17th.

It was either give up or start again.

shot 100 off 6 a couple of years ago in and open off the back tee, didn't go up 0.1 either as it was RO. was mid pack as well 70th out of 150.

Unfortunately my largest score was only this weekend. Just a bad days golf all round (understatement). 107 for a net 94 (par 72)The soone I forget about that the better. Was reductions only though.

I say Cruden Bay for the medal with your start :D Would you still have gone for that par 5 in 2 if it was a medal?
