They were dead easy to clean with a tee every few holes. The placing of the spikes seems to help with this. With some of my other shoes, I can poke about with a tee for ages and not get the mud off.
I have always had problem with overactive foot movement and I feel that these shoes are definitely helping.

Although the outriggers look quite large when you hold the shoe in your hand, when you are wearing them and look down, you can't even see them.

White shoes, in the winter?

Got mine today. They can stay in the box till spring.
 
Played in the 4BBB (1st round of winter league). freezing in the morning and windy all day too. Probably my best day of driving for a long time (and my partners too). Shot a 75 (3 over) on my own ball (net 67, would have been a nice h/cap cut). Playing off 3/4 hcap our score was 66 (partner was in on many holes and we worked well together). 3 birdies for me, and even 1 OOB ball too :(

Roll on the next round next month.
 
December medal yesterday shot a gross 83 nett 70 1 under par, could have been better messed up the 10th hit a drive that left me with 125 yds to the green and took another 6 shots, bounced back with a bridie on the next hole.
 
managed to play 9 holes today with a few of the old guys and i was on fire on the greens,the condition of them was terrible but they kept going in:D

+2 for 9 with a penalty stroke.i'm hitting the ball pretty well but i was lucky with a few bad shots.

Betterball match with Homer today which we won 3&2. Hard to say exactly what my score was with gimmes etc but I was about 8 over when we won on 16.
 
Won our 2nd (3rd if you count the pre-lim) round winter pairs ko this morning. A good match where the lead changed 4 or 5 times and there was never more than 1 in it either way.

Turning point on 15 I think. 1 down after 14 and both our opponents got shots on 15 where my partner didn't. They were both round the green in 2 but my par was enough for a half.
Won 16 and 17 with pars then bogeyed 18 for a half to win 1 up.

I think I was just under 80 which I'm chuffed with considering that for the first 11 holes you couldn't land anything but a chip on the green.
 
Managed a great 18 points today with a sore back. Found it hard to get into my swing as when i reached the top of my backswing the lower back muscle seemed to be stretched to its maximum and when i went to move my hips through the ball on the way down i couldnt.

I had 1 great drive that was what i wanted to play but felt the lower back pulling on the way through.
Had 2 slices which i havent had for a while and somehow managed to turn what i knew was going to be a hook on the way down into a powerfade 3 times LOL. And a couple of slightly hooky draws that werent too much offline.

But i did not have 1 decent iron shot as i just found i couldnt get through the ball at all with a full swing and my chipping seemed to be affected also. Only short pitch shots were working.

But thank goodness next session of winter league is from 3/1/12 to 8/1/12 so i am going to try and get the lower back worked on to strenthen and try and get a bit more flexibility in the muscles. If i play on the Saturday 7/1/12 that will give me 3 weeks to try and get something done with it.

But all in all was quite happy to have managed to get 18 points with so many bad shots.
 
only been playing 3 months (got my excuses in early there) played 9 holes solo yesterday and scored 46. played today with my brother and scored 54! apparently the 46 does not count as it was not witnessed! Typical.
 
200 range balls today. It was a mixed bag. At the range there's some rugby posts about 150 yards out. Occassionally I'd get on a run of three or four 4i and 5i through the posts, start feeling good and then I'd be push/slicing one out towards the fence (which Google Earth tells me is some 60 yards off target).
 
Didnt play great today although on the positive side my chipping and putting were spot on again today (all down to the v-easy practice) just getting to that range was the problem!! Took me 12 holes to get the driver going by then it was too late!! Did have a good finish though with bogey, bogey & par. The two bogey had lip out putts and chipped in for the par!! It's all in there somewhere just got to work out how to do it on every hole!!
 
Went out yesterday with our normal sat morning roll up (or some of them). Some probably saw the frost and gave it a miss, while hawkeye and Homer were busy winning their first round winter league match. Only 6 of us went out in the 'roll up' and I had the worst round since I don't know when. 23 points !!!!!
The joke was that it was won with 26 points.
Monthly medal today. At least it can't be worse (or can it?)

its tough playing a 6600 yard links when its cold and very windy :)
 
Gross 81 for 35 points in December Stableford in difficult conditions. I was 2nd when I left but waiting to find out the final result. It's been a cracking weekend of golf for me all in all.
 
Good few days for me.
In 3-man team on Friday in the Seniors Turkey Trot Texas Scramble - played really well and winning team by 4 shots with a nett 59.
Turkey Trot Stableford qualifier today - played well again, messed up last 2 holes but scored 35 points - CSS was 35 points, so in buffer.
