Played in a corporate event today at a fantastic course in Yorkieland.
Wasn't too confident s I stepped up to the 1st tee as my game has been suffering of late.
Decided on the driver and gave it a relatively steady backswing............straight down the middle!
To cut a long story short, I played the best I ever have! A guy walked round with us who we used to mark our cards. Therefore, I wasn't aware how good/bad I was doing. Needless to say I knew I wasn't doing too bad as I parred several and birdied one.
Thoroughly enjoyed my game in the mixed weather. Returned to the clubhouse where we calculated our Stableford points.
I scored 37, my best score ever. Now sitting at home feeling well pleased with myself.
Isn't golf a brilliant game!
