Heres a tip for "her indoors", buy her a horse!

Benefits :-

1, She will be busy all weekend.
2, You CANNOT spend as much on golf as the horse costs.

Negatives :-

1, The smell of horse pee
2, Bankruptcy

As for my game, it has all gone to rat poo, only just broke 80 (all relative I know) need to see the Dr!!

GB72 - laughed like a drain on that one! You only left one out.

Started on our par 5 1st. hole with 3 penalty shots, made 9. Double bogied the 2nd. bogied the 3rd. but still finished with a nett 73 with the course SS at 73. Counted 29 putts on the greens. More that pleased with the recovery.

Brendy, is that scratch 72?
Yes mate second week in a row, almost lost my drive at the first too (soggy), found it approaching my 5 minutes limit, rushed the recovery shot and took a bogey 5!
Eagle, birdie, birdie for the next three holes then a few bogeys and completed the front nine in level par, back nine +1 which made me happy as there are 3 par 3's and only 1 par 5 in the back nine too.
Checked today, won the gross competition for the second time in a few weeks so they have me playing of +2 in the gross and 4.5 in the normal competition.

Excellent DF, when playing in a betterball comp its such a great feeling finishing under par, it means you had a good day and you dont leave feeling either you or your partner could have done better. It doesnt matter if you win or not, as long as you broke par.

Played Saturday--what a disaster--drove OOB on the third---2 balls in the water at the par 3 sixth, another ball in the water at the par 3 ninth, lost ball on the thirtenth, a ball in water at 15 and 16.

Only two weeks ago qualified in fifth place in our matchplay qalifier.

Thats why we love and hate this game in equal measure.

Was soo happy to play on Sat as it was supposed to rain all day!
Hit some of my best ever shots with a birdie 3 on a 400 yard par 4 and a birdie 2 on a 200 yard par 3!! Just really need to work on my short game and getting them drives more regular.
